“Bears Floating”: Jayet’s Bear in the land of NFTs

His name may not tell you much if you are not a fan of pop art. However, Jayet is already part of the history of NFTs, with a first collaboration more than successful as part of the launch of the Lucky Duckies. The artist has made a name for himself in the very closed world of art and visual artists. Very well known for his bear, symbol of his works, Jayet has already had the opportunity to carry out collaborations in emblematic places. We can mention in particular the MUCEM esplanade in Marseille, the intercontinental or even very well-known galleries.

Jayet is a visual artist of the pop art current, which is gradually evolving towards the NFT world. He arrives with a new collection “ Floating Bears ”and a drop of type” Tryptic Numerico Physic ». But then, what does all this consist of?

The triptych actually consists of a variation of the same work on three supports. The first is a sculpture in the physical world. The second is a hologram that presents a bear trapped in a physical frame representing a holographic 3D version of the same sculpture. Finally, the third medium is digital and allows you to simply carry the work in your smartphone or tablet.

Now you know what the concept of Tryptic Numerico Physic, that Jayet was the first artist in the world to realize it. It integrates it perfectly with that of the NFTs, since collectors will have an NFT which will act as a certificate of authenticity of the sculptures and the version on holographic support. A work that the artist has undertaken in order to adapt to the evolution of new technologies. The latter have come to interfere in the art world with the recent surge of NFT.

The artist has always been fascinated by bears: since he was a child in a cuddly toy, in treats, but also in the collective imagination. It is therefore quite natural that he opted for the bear as an emblem of his art.

Jayet is an international 3.0 artist, specialized in sculpture, NFT design, holograms, paintings, sculptures … Today he is the first artist to have put up for sale this type of triptych.

French visual designer, his story begins with a bear, an iconic animal cradling the childhood of many children. The Jayet bear represents sweetness as much as power. He is unique in the world: two-faced, winking on the stack side, wide-eyed and smiling on the face side, his arms wide open. He is in the image of Janus the “ god of transitions ”two-headed, 2,000-year-old. The difference? The bear, on the other hand, smiles at the future with his wink. And why two faces? The first side represents the bear amazed by the world around him with round eyes, wide open. The second represents that of José Garcia, with his lucky and benevolent wink.

The largest bear in the world is located in Marseille and measures more than 6 meters. With its orange color, it does not go unnoticed if you are passing through the Phocaean capital.

From 2022, Jayet will launch a new NFT catalog in partnership with Cointribune, Cointelegraph and Metakira, especially at the famous Peninsula Paris.

An exhibition is also being prepared at the Carreau du Temple from May 2022. The opportunity to reveal a 35-ton, 5-storey project that he is currently designing: a huge Rooster exclusively for the Rugby World Cup and the Paris Olympics in 2022.

But, beyond his more traditional creations, Jayet is launching a new NFT collection entitled “ Floating bears “. A very organic movement towards NFTs given Jayet’s career as an artist, who emancipated himself later as an artist. In a recent interview, he stated that during his studies, he had learned to sculpt with a club, an awl, pointed scissors and bleachers. Today, he uses more modern techniques, similar to those of Jeff Koons, for example.

« I draw, then I refine with graphic designers, specialists in 3D, resin, and painters. It’s a lot of great meetings, exchanges and work. To turn the idea into an implementation, a large team is needed. And it should expand, because I make bears in concrete, wood, marble, stainless steel and also bronze, and holograms. »
