Today, global business media publication featuring blockchain, eSports, forex and iGaming news – FortuneZ, and world’s first repository for compiling blockchain and crypto research papers established in 2010 – Crypto Chain University, announces their collaboration and activism efforts towards helping to police the cryptocurrency industry, with the compilation of a list of scam, fraudulent crypto websites.

This list is compiled painstaking by both Crypto Chain University and FortuneZ editorial team, comprising of scam Initial Coin Offering (ICO)s and other crypto services, all information, proofs, investigations below came from different people of Bitcointalk.org who cares the crypto community from scammers and fraudulent ICOs.

“Bitcoin first came into existence on 3 January 2009, when Satoshi Nakamoto mining the genesis block of bitcoin. Up to date, it has barely been a decade, and thus there is still a lack of governance, and regulations by governments and authorities from around the world,” said Herbert Sim, Founder of Crypto Chain University, and Global Operations Director at Huobi. “Thus it is up to the community, the people, to self-police, to help alert the general public against people or companies with malicious intent to scam and give the industry a bad name.”

“Especially during the peak of Bitcoin to 20k in December 2017, many ICO projects were created, and of that lot, at least 95% of them were scams, they might look legit but most of their teams are fake, whitepaper are copy-paste from other projects.” said Maria Khramtsova, Chief Executive Officer of FortuneZ, and lead researcher at Crypto Chain University. “Agreeing with Herbert, there needs to be self-governance, information-flow to the general public, if not these scammers might succeed and get away with these scams.”

All credits belong to people of Bitcointalk or anyone who submit their reports. This list put together by Crypto Chain University and FortuneZ, is to help information and provide knowledge especially for ICO investors and to raise awareness about all of these scams.
